“My Australian Shepherd, Loch, and I just finished our Basic Manners classes with Louise Daigle. I want to sing my praises of Louise! She was by far the best obedience instructor I’ve ever had!

Why? Because she clearly cared about each member of our class and was obviously committed to guiding us and our dogs to success. Her instructions and delivery were very clear and based on positive reinforcement. At every class, Louise helped each one of us individually.

The follow up homework sheets were precise and easily understood. Louise’s enthusiasm for teaching and her commitment to helping us succeed with our dogs was apparent from the first class.  Loch and I are eager to start our next round of training w. Louise.  This time, Beginner’s Agility!

Special thanks to Louise and to LRHS for having such a talented obedience instructor on staff!”

“My puppy and I have taken two five week training sessions with Louise, and we have benefited from it tremendously!  Louise has a unique sense of dogs and their owners and though she teaches the basics to all in the class, she happily helps individuals with their “at home” doggie situations.  She makes the work of training your dog fun!

I highly recommend Louise Daigle for one-on-one or group dog training lessons!  You can’t go wrong!”

Before I met Louise, I had already heard of her. Her good reputation had preceded her.  I got my puppy Floyd in June 2016, and everywhere I went in Wolfeboro with Floyd, people said, if you are looking for a good dog trainer, you must go to Louise in Ossipee.  At six months old, Floyd was getting bigger and more mischievous. I frantically searched for behavior classes for him. Good luck prevailed as I perused the newspaper and found classes were beginning at the Lakes Region Humane Society in Ossipee. The trainer’s name was Louise, and I knew right then, I had found the trainer that the people of Wolfeboro had been talking about for so long.

Classes were small. There were only three dogs. It was the ideal climate for Floyd and me. I could hear Louise perfectly and see her training techniques easily. I could ask for more help and more demonstrations about how to do things with Floyd. Louise was patient and kind. She was gentle at all times. She was very careful to understand each dog in the class. She made special effort to calm each dog. Floyd, much to my horror, peed a lot in excitement. I felt terrible about that, but Louise took it in stride.  I had four classes with our small group and with each class, Floyd learned a lot and had fun.
I missed a class due to a snow storm and Louise called to set up a personal hour with her to compensate for the missed class. It was incredible. Louise taught me so much in that hour about how to challenge Floyd and how to stop annoying behaviors. I’ve been putting her ideas and suggestions into practice and life with Floyd is so much easier and much more enjoyable. I thank Louise everyday for lessons learned and for the peace and harmony that has been restored to my life.  Louise knows how to bring out the best in every dog because she understands and respects the very fine animals that they are.
