LRHS Offers Year Round Dog Training
LRHS periodically conducts an array of group training classes such as: Basic manners, Introduction to Agility, Nose Work and The American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen program that encourages responsible pet ownership and good manners for dogs.
In addition to offering group classes, our CPDT-KA certified trainer, Louise Daigle, is happy to provide private consultations with clients and their dogs upon request.
Sat. Oct. 14th – Sat. Nov. 18th (no class Nov. 4th) LRHS is offering:
9 am -10 am – Basic Manners – 5 week program – $125
Having a well-behaved dog is about so much more than just obedience. While this class focuses primarily on obedience, we also take time to problem solve trouble behaviors and do fun tricks as well. This class is perfect for dogs who have been recently adopted, have not had much training, or for dogs who just need a refresher. Behaviors covered are: Sit, Down, Place, Leave It, Touch and Recall.
10:15 am – 11:15 am Advanced Obedience – 5 week program – $135
This class focuses on strengthening previously leaned behaviors to make dogs more reliable. Obedience such as: Stay, Heel, giving attention with distractions and coming when called will be developed. Each week we will challenge you and your dog to build on your success!
